Here you will find a list of events that are actively seeking hosts, with RFPs from regional, national and international sports-event organizers who are looking to partner with destinations in the future. To find out about each item below, click on “More Information” to get details about what the event organizer is looking for, as well as a complete RFP with even more specifications about the event including venue requirements, hotel needs and fees associated with bidding.

2024-2027 USA Taekwondo U.S. Open

Bid Deadline: August 22, 2023

About the Organization: USA Taekwondo is currently accepting bids for the 2024-2027 and beyond for the U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships. Prior to submitting a bid, please review the necessary requirements as set forth. This annual event is one of the premier taekwondo events in the world and the oldest Open Taekwondo Championships in the world. MORE INFORMATION

AJGA Junior Championship

Bid Deadline: September 1, 2023

About the Organization: The American Junior Golf Association is interested in bringing an event to an area for a minimum of three years. AJGA field size is 78 players for main event and 78 unique players for qualifying event. This event size has opportunity to increase depending on the time of year and location of host city. AJGA event will bring up to 156 families to your area for this event. AJGA would anticipate roughly 80% of players and families staying in a hotel in the area during the event. MORE INFORMATION

Unified Gaming FanFest

Bid Deadline: September 30, 2023

About the Organization: Unified Gaming produces gaming and esports events of all shapes and sizes nationwide to activate a community, especially around youth engagement. Events are built in partnership with destinations in markets across North America such as convention centers, casinos, universities, theme parks, or other privately held venues to produce Gaming Festivals, which natively engages both a casual and competitive attendee base as a service to the community. 2024-2025 USA Boxing Championships and Event Offerings

Bid Deadline: November 30, 2023

About the Organization: USA Boxing’s events take place year-round, beginning with the first qualifier in the spring and ending with the National Championships in December. Competitive bids will include facilities, services, value-in-kind donations and financial support to make the event successful for the city, Local Boxing Committee (LBC) and participants while representing the USA Boxing brand. 2026 U.S. Olympic Team Trials–Curling

Bid Deadline: December 15, 2023

About the Organization: The 2026 U.S. Olympic Team Trials–Curling will determine the Men’s team and women’s team that will represent the United States at the 2026 Winter Olympics. Competition will be seven days plus a day of practice, and a five-day ice build. MORE INFORMATION

2024-2026 Pro-Am Beach Soccer U.S. National Championship

Bid Deadline: December 31, 2023

About the Organization: Pro-Am Beach Soccer is an organization offering the sand version of the sport to all ages from youth (starting with U9) and running through adult play. The organization has events since 2005, their biggest event is the Santa Cruz, California. The event, held over two days in June, brings more than 150 teams and 2,000 attendees (mandatory capped). 2024 APP Tour

Bid Deadline: December 31, 2023

About the Organization: The Association of Pickleball Professionals is actively evaluating new cities and venues. The event will be held from Wednesday to Sunday with load-in on the Sunday or Monday before and load-out on the Monday after. Tournament play typically runs from 8am to 8pm Wednesday through Sunday and may be extended in 2024. MORE INFORMATION

2024 NACE National Convention

Bid Deadline: December 31, 2023

About the Organization: The NACE convention brings together NACE members from through the United States to provide professional development in the world of esports. In addition, the annual membership business meeting and national award ceremony are held during the convention. The primary convention meeting days will be Tuesday through Thursday. MORE INFORMATION
